Data Sets

Data Sets represent a way to create pre-defined instances of Models called Objects and they are a set of instances of models with their relations and properties. Data Sets allows the user to inject data into the application in correlation with the Data Model. Objects can be created, updated and deleted.

The data model represents the metadata for the objects. Data set is used to instantiate these Models in the database. Data set instances are saved into the Olympe database. Data Sets coming from third parties is not stored into the Olympe database. In this case, Olympe only reads data, defines Models for this data, or manipulates data.

Global data set

A Global Data Set is also available in the Project editor as a Tab. It contains objects of all Data Sets and the objects created within an application.
